Is Adam as nice as he seems?
That was the question I copped from all quarters - the female quarters in particular - on having met with TV host, Adam Hills for a Sunday Life profile.
Short answer, yes. Though nice can be a brand of asphyxia - as Nice Plague on your right will prove. Better than nice, Adam is genuine, warm-blooded, engaging and barely has a ticket on himself.
Our interview was set to last 40 minutes, but that spilt into 90 - including a loony photo shoot in the MakeUp Department, the bloke happy to answer any impertinent question coming his way. As a sign of thanks I gave him Hooked on Hillsy - a bootleg CD I’d burnt for the profile - nine songs designed to float the comic’s boat. (The gimmick will make sense when you read the story.)
So yeah, he’s nice. And funny. In fact a must for your next bah-mitzvah. Just in case the newly posted profile doesn’t give you those impressions.
